Mindful Yoga private lessons and small group classes are based on the practices of yoga postures and mindfulness meditation. 60 minutes long, each begins with a centering practice focused on breathing and grounding. Mindful movement linked with the breath follows, including upper and lower body exercises, supine, seated and standing poses. A deep relaxation at the end of class seals the beneficial effects of the practice.
In addition to yoga, lessons may include a focus on breathing exercises, meditation and iRest Yoga Nidra, according to each person’s needs and concerns.
